Pride with Caribbean Equality Project
Jaël was commissioned by the Caribbean Equality Project to create a series of illustrations for a social and OOH campaign, aimed to uplift the Indo-Caribbean and Afro-Caribbean LGBT+ communities. Through these detailed portraits, she infused the cultures within these communities, representing their features, fashion sand the patterns that make them distinctive.
“This series was all about encouraging voting and standing for LGBTQ+ rights. Whether shared on social media or on a sign, I wanted these images to represent and uplift people that often go overlooked.”
