True Colours with Lush

Jaël was commissioned by Lush to contribute to their latest publishing project, a book by Milly Alqhuist and Mark Constantine. ‘True Colours: Hair Colouring for the Curious and Cautious’, celebrates henna and educates on the many types of hair dye.

“Through my illustration, I wanted to represent the versatility of Afro Hair. My muse is a rebel. Her hair is a part of her but doesn’t define who she is. Whether coloured, bald, cut or braided, she is confident within herself.”
